The Coventry campus is undergoing constant redevelopment. The multi-million-pound Alison Gingell building offers School of Health and Care students the opportunity to experience real-world healthcare scenarios, while the GBP 25 million Beatrice Shilling Building hosts facilities like a gaming and virtual reality studio, a specialist area for 3D printing and rapid prototyping, a laser facility and physics and electronics laboratories.
In 2023 a new building for the College of Arts and Society will offer access to an all-new range of cutting-edge facilities including immersive and hyper studios, as well as industry-standard fabrication spaces and workshops.

Once students have enrolled, they will be assigned a success coach. The success coach’s aim is to make sure students have the support they need to make the most of their course and all that university life offers. Each Success Coach will be there to support students from day one until graduation.
Coventry University also offers dedicated careers and employability resources through its Talent Team to help students build their employment skills, get relevant work experience and obtain graduate level jobs. A range of advice and support is available, including guidance within a student’s course, advice on gaining employability skills, CV preparation, work experience opportunities, recruitment process help and preparation for interviews and assessments. Alongside working with students and tutors, they also work with employers and mentors in a range of industries, to make sure students get the most out of their time at university.
Coventry University is also very well placed for the National Graduate Recruitment events in Birmingham, and past students have gone on to careers with organisations such as PWC, Accenture and Jaguar Land Rover.
This support doesn’t end when students leave Coventry University, and there is a large and active alumni community that graduates can join, in addition to continuing to access careers advice and help up to two years from when students graduate.

The new Delia Derbyshire building complex includes exciting new facilities, creative technologies and spaces which will significantly enhance the ability of Coventry University students to engage with its innovative programmes and to learn in exciting new ways. This investment for the university represents a huge vote of confidence in the creative and cultural sector, and in what the university believes it, and its students, can achieve.
These new spaces include a hyper-studio for experimental, collaborative projects with external partners and students from other courses and faculties; new immersive studios for sound and vision (AR, VR and XR); new photography and film production facilities, hack labs, post-production and games suites; and a new gallery and fully updated creative practice studios, workshops and fabrication spaces.
These spaces are not just for the benefit of Coventry University students and the expansion of their teaching and learning experience — the university is delighted to welcome its local, national and international community in the spaces and the work occurring at the university.

Coventry University frequently offers scholarships to help the best and brightest students achieve their potential. The university understands the financial challenges of studying abroad and subsequently offer hundreds of scholarships of different values, covering a wide selection of eligibility criteria.
These include specific offerings for students from certain countries or regions, for outstanding candidates with specific abilities or outstanding academic achievement, and for particular programmes at the university. The International Pathways Scholarship offers funding to students on the university’s foundation, international year one and pre-master’s courses. Students can apply for a GBP 3,000 support package, which can help with tuition or living expenses.

For most undergraduate courses, students will need an IELTS score of 6.0 or an equivalent English qualification, and they will be asked to provide evidence of their English language test on application.
For students who wish to top up their English language skills, Coventry University offers pre-sessional English courses so that students can gain the required level of language skills to move on to their undergraduate or postgraduate courses. Coventry University offers high-quality preparation programmes for international students who do not meet the requirements for direct entry to their preferred undergraduate or postgraduate course.
