The Royal Veterinary College (RVC) is an independent College that was founded in 1791 as The Veterinary College, London, eventually becoming a full part of the University of London in 1949. The Royal Veterinary College is the UK's oldest and largest independent vet school, and offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in veterinary medicine, veterinary nursing and biological sciences, and CPD programmes in veterinary medicine and veterinary nursing.
