The University of Liverpool, founded in 1881, is home to around 30,000 students, including more than 8,000 international students from over 130 countries. The new University of provide up to GBP 10 million worth of scholarships for international undergraduate and postgraduate master’s students. Students could receive a discount of up to GBP 7,500 off their postgraduate master’s course tuition fees (specific courses). High achieving undergraduates can also save up to GBP 5,000 on tuition fees over three years, available across all courses.

A recently published study by High Fliers Research Limited showed that graduates from the University of Liverpool ranked 20th out of more than 140 UK universities engaged with by recruiting employers.
The university now offers January start dates for a number of master's programmes in health sciences, and engineering, so if applicants miss the application deadline for September 2024, they can apply for selected programmes starting in January 2025.

To help students be part of this exciting journey the university has launched up to GBP 10 million* worth of new Advancement Scholarships for international students.
High achieving undergraduate students can save up to GBP 5,000 on tuition fees over three years.
There are three components to the scholarships available to master's students.
All students who apply for a University of Liverpool degree will be automatically considered for a scholarship. Components 1 and 2 of the scholarships for master's students cannot be combined with any other awards under the University of Liverpool Advancement Scholarships. Both parts of component 3 can be combined with each other.
Several international qualifications are accepted for undergraduate admissions. Applicants should check the page on the university’s website for the most relevant information.
Applicants for a taught master’s degree will usually be required to hold the equivalent of a UK bachelor degree. Similarly, for MPhil and PhD courses, international applicants need to hold a master’s qualification, the equivalent of a high-grade bachelor’s degree, Â鶹Դ´ some research experience and thesis writing.
International applicants also need to demonstrate . A minimum of CEFR B2 in each component (speaking, writing, listening and reading) is required and is also necessary in order to secure a study visa for entry into the UK.
For students who do not meet these minimum requirements, there is an English Language Centre on campus which runs pre-sessional English for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses to improve skills to gain a university place. Some of the shorter course (12 week, 10 week and 6 week options) can be studied online or on campus.
International applicants who have different education systems from the UK may require additional preparation before commencing a degree at the University of Liverpool. Applicants can study with Kaplan’s University of Liverpool International College (UoLIC) via several pathways programmes.
Taught in a new state-of-the-art facility on campus, once pathway programmes are completed, students have guaranteed progression onto their chosen University of Liverpool degree course.

High-speed Wi-Fi is available for laptops, tablets and mobiles and free software is available to install on students’ own computers.
