California State University Long Beach – CSULB – traces its origins to the Los Angeles-Orange County State College that started functioning in 1949. From a humble beginning in an apartment building the institution grew in size and stature and today CSULB is a student-centred, public university offering an excellent selection of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes to its students. CSULB is a research-driven university and the “incubator” programme has served as a commendable launch pad for many start-ups that have been created by students.

Great school

I think California State University (Long Beach) is a great school. Since it's a state school, the tuition is really reasonable. The information and knowledge that I gained from my business classes has been applicable in the 'real world'. I like this school and I would not trade my experience here for t read full review

Academically excellent!

If you want to go to a good school and not drown in your debt, come to California State University (Long Beach). It is academically excellent, not like any other California State. Just come and visit the school and you will love it. My options were UCSB, UCD, and CSULB. Here I am at Long Beach and I lov read full review
