Overview

Florida SouthWestern State College (earlier Edison StateCollege) is a public institute in Florida. Opened in 1962, the College offers bachelors degrees in public safety administration, secondary biology education, secondary mathematics education, elementary education, nursing, and supervision and management. Associate degrees are offered in accounting technology, business administration and management, cardiovascular technology, computer programming and analysis, crime scene technology, criminal justice technology, dental hygiene, and drafting and design technology among others. Certificate programs are also available. In 2008-09, the College had an annual headcount of 20,866. The College has three campuses in Florida: Lee Campus, Collier Campus and Charlotte Campus.
