Nova Southeastern University or NSU as it is popularly known as is a private research-oriented university based out of Fort Lauderdale in Florida. NSU was formed in 1994 by the merger of Nova University of Advanced Technology Southeastern University of Health Sciences. NSU is one of 37 universities in the USA to be awarded Carnegie’s Community Engagement Classification. NSU comprises 16 constituent schools, which offer a wide variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in subjects as diverse as Optometry and Oceanography and Arts and Engineering.

The doctoral student who has the requisite focus and determination will succeed. A successful and proud alum

The programs are fully accredited, intense and well respected throughout the business and academic realms.  People need to quit comparing it with the no-wall, for-profit universities that are out there - and get over it.  NSU is a very good school-period.
