Brock recently launched several new undergraduate and graduate programs including a BA in Forensic Psychology and Criminal Justice, a combined Bachelor/Master鈥檚 in Nursing, and new pathways for international students in education. A new Engineering program was also announced and hopes to launch in the coming years.
Brock has recently opened new facilities, including a new building for the Goodman School of Business, the School of Fine and Performing Arts, new residences, and many new spaces for studying and recreation.
Brock University fosters a strong culture of sports at both recreational and competitive levels. The university has invested in state-of-the-art facilities and equipment to ensure that its students have every opportunity to train as individuals or as a team. The Badgers have had an historic run of recent successes, with five teams qualifying for this season鈥檚 national championships. The women鈥檚 volleyball and basketball teams completed their playoff runs at the nationals, with ongoing campaigns for a further three sports teams schedules in the coming weeks. Games will be broadcast directly through U SPORTS or via CBC Sports.
Brock athletes have won over 90 Ontario University Athletics (OUA) provincial titles and over 50 national titles in various in sports and athletic pursuits.

Students are encouraged to apply to the , which automatically applies them to hundreds of awards at the same time. There are specific awards for international students, and Brock dedicates millions of dollars to student support each year.

Students are automatically considered during course placement, providing that the student is enrolled on their first undergraduate program. Brock University employs a minimum academic credential system for undergraduate admission consideration. This depends on the national curriculum students have studied previously, so they are encouraged to check the university website for and equivalence lists of the credentials required to apply. Students who meet the minimum requirements are not automatically guaranteed admission. Admission is also based on academic performance, course prerequisites and , as well as other factors.
If a student does not meet the requirements of their preferred program, Brock will automatically assess them for an alternate offer of admission. Should they not meet the English language requirements, Brock will refer them to Brock鈥檚 own program.
