International students may qualify for entrance scholarships and distinguished awards, such as the President鈥檚 Entrance Scholarship (up to CAD 40,000) or the International Student Merit Scholarships (CAD 5,000).
The President鈥檚 Entrance Scholarship is awarded to secondary school graduates who demonstrate academic accomplishment, leadership qualities, original thought and creative ability. A minimum 90 per cent final admission average is required for consideration.
The International Student Merit Scholarships are awarded to international students who are entering their first year of a full-time, four-year undergraduate degree program at TMU in the Fall or Winter term and demonstrate academic excellence, commitment to volunteer work and extracurricular activities, and leadership skills. A minimum 85%/A or equivalent final admission average is required for consideration.
