Established in 1987 as a Film Production School, Vancouver Film School (VFS) is a global leader in arts and entertainment education, offering 15 programs to over 1,000 students across eight campuses. VFS operates like a studio, with multiple production facilities that are required for content creation for film, TV, animation, games, digital applications, design and more. Master instructors and mentors deliver courses at VFS and the curriculum is regularly updated and realigned to match current industry standards. One-year programs at VFS go deep into the subject and are efficient, while also being immersive and transformational. VFS’ inspired education department comprises experts at curriculum design and preparing industry specialists to be effective teachers. Events at VFS are organised in collaboration with VFS Café, alumni, counsellors, industry, tour providers and business representatives in Vancouver.
