What will I learn?

Combine principles vital to planning such as design, delivery and management with extensive knowledge of Australian law, legal process, land law and environmental law. This degree is designed for students who are passionate about both the Law and City Planning, and are interested in learning about the connection between the two. The City Planning component gives you the skills and knowledge required to play an influential role in the challenges facing our natural and built environments. You will learn how to shape sustainable, equitable, healthy and inspiring built environments. The Law degree enables you to study areas to complement the City Planning degree, such as land law, strata and community titles, and construction contracts.

There are several admission pathways to an undergraduate degree at UNSW including high school qualifications, UNSW Foundation Studies, UNSW Diploma, recognised prior study or university transfer.

English Language requirements:

IELTS: 7.0 overall (min. 6.0 in each subtest); TOEFL IBT (Internet Based): 94 overall (min. 25 in writing, 23 in reading, listening and speaking); Pearson (PTE - Academic): 65 overall (min. 54 in each subtest); C1 Advanced Cambridge: 185 overall (min. 169 in each subtest); C2 Proficiency Cambridge: 185 overall (min. 180 in each subtest); UNSW Global University English Entry Course (UEEC): B, Writing C.
