What will I learn?

The Faculty of Science and the UNSW Business School offer a double degree program that allows you to earn two degrees after five and a half years of successful study: a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Materials Science and Engineering and a Bachelor of Commerce. It is designed for materials engineers who aspire to develop skills in technical management and gain a deeper understanding of the economic and social aspects of the engineering profession. The materials science and engineering component of the program equips you with the theoretical and practical skills that positions you at the forefront of innovation in developing materials that are lighter, greener, and stronger. On the other hand, the commerce component provides you with a solid foundation in general business principles while offering the flexibility to specialise in a specific area of business. With more than ten majors to choose from, ranging from accounting to innovation, strategy, and entrepreneurship, you have the opportunity to tailor your business degree to align with your interests and career goals.
