This major will develop your fundamental statistical and programming skills in data analytics, which you will apply to a range of commercial and economic contexts. You will also gain the written and oral communication skills necessary to present this analysis to a range of business stakeholders.

There has been an explosion in ‘big data’ over the past 20 years. In the commercial field, businesses now have access to a huge variety of data, from consumer-related information, through to supply chain and logistics data.

Extend your knowledge and undertake a second major in a related discipline such as finance, economics, or data science. The combination of technical knowledge and practical applications has the potential to substantially increase your employability upon graduation. Graduates may enter into professions such as Data Analyst, Economist or Marketing Analyst.
