Bachelor of Property

What will I learn?

As the world’s population grows, so too must our cities, suburban areas, towns – and consequently – our demand for residential, commercial, and community property.

The property sector is now Australia’s largest industry and employer, exposed to significant upswings and cycles. In this dynamic and unpredictable environment, companies are looking for employees with up-to-date, in-depth knowledge of current legislation, new technologies and future trends in the real estate and development sector.

Bond’s Bachelor of Property covers the full lifecycle of construction, finance, and valuation – from feasibility analysis, planning processes and land economy through to real estate property rights, property trusts and taxation, and spatial information systems – all underpinned by the core principles of environmental, economic, and social sustainability. Studying at Bond, you will be immersed in the ‘living laboratory’ of Australia’s fastest growing region and an infrastructure development hotspot, where you’ll have the opportunity to work with real clients on commercial, residential, public sector and community projects.

The Bachelor of Property provides a foundation for careers in the property development and management industry and the opportunity to specialise in Property Valuation. The degree provides a comprehensive range of subjects including construction practices, feasibility studies, finance, investment and valuation, property markets, corporate real estate, land economy, sustainable development and urban development.

What can you do with your degree?

The global property market provides a variety of career opportunities for graduates in the property valuation, development, and management sectors. Graduates who can demonstrate well-developed cognitive, technical and communication skills and the ability to select and apply methods and technologies relevant to professional practice are highly sought after in the property industry. Furthermore, as climate change has become a primary concern to most organisations, up to date qualifications in sustainability are also highly regarded.

Bond’s Bachelor of Property will provide you with a dynamic range of career pathways in the property industry. Our graduates are highly sought after upon graduation and employment opportunities include working in a variety of organisations and roles.
