What will I learn?

Globalisation and new developments in information and media technology are reshaping design. This course gives you the knowledge and skills to thrive in a changing visual-media landscape.

Explore image design, typography, layout design, branding, design history, research methods and web-based design. Engage in individual and team projects. Develop conceptual thinking skills and use a variety of traditional and emerging technologies to expand your creative capabilities.

When you successfully complete the 16-month diploma from The College, you gain guaranteed entry into the second year of the Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication) at Western Sydney University.

Entry requirements

For international students

Students must have Successful completion of Year 12 or an equivalent qualification.

English Language Requirements:

IELTS 6.0 overall score, minimum 5.5 in each subtest; TOEFL internet-based total 70 score Writing 20; listening and reading 11; speaking 16; Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): 50 overall; No communication skills less than 42.
