What will I learn?

The NSA program provides learners with comprehensive skills in Information Technology infrastructure design and support. Students apply their learning in hands-on advanced labs outfitted with industry-grade hardware and software from universally recognized technology leaders such as Cisco, Microsoft, Red Hat, and AWS. Upon completion of the program, students will be able to perform tasks related to networking, routing, switching, on-prem and cloud server administration, as well as essential remote access, communication, and messaging technologies.

The NSA program offers curriculum and certification pathways from leading vendor academy partners in Information and Communication Technology education, such as:

Red Hat Academy

Students in the NSA program are prepared to write industry certification exams such as:

MITT students can choose to write their certification exams at MITT's Test Centre. The cost of certification exams is not included in tuition, but MITT students and alumni are eligible for discounted pricing through our partners.

Entry requirements

For international students

High school diploma (or expected completion within 45 days of the program start date), or equivalent.

A minimum average of 70% over the following, with no less than 60% in each course:
Senior level Mathematics (equivalent to a 40S Mathematics course)

Senior level Language Arts (equivalent to 40S English Language Arts course)
A third senior level academic course (equivalent to a 40S academic course)

English language requirement:

  • IELTS (Academic) (International English Language Testing System): 6.0 overall, no band less than 5.5
  • PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English Academic): 54
  • TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet Based): Overall score of 78, with no less than 17 in each component
  • CAEL CE & CAEL Online (Canadian Academic English Assessment): 60
  • Cambridge English Advanced Certificate (C1): Scale Score of 180 / Grade of C
