What will I learn?

The Finance & Wealth Management program is a 4-year collaborative program offered by King鈥檚 and Fanshawe. Successful graduates of the program will receive a Bachelor of Arts - Finance (3 year) degree from Western University, and a Business - Finance (2 year) diploma from Fanshawe College.

In addition, the primary educational components of: Personal Financial Planner, Qualified Associate Financial Planner, and Certified Financial Planner (CFP)certification can be completed, as well as preparation to write industry licensing exams such as Investment Funds In Canada, Canadian Securities Course(CSC), and Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) which will further enhance career opportunities. Students must have MCV 4U completed to apply for the program.

Entry requirements

For international students

For Ontario high school students a minimum 80% final entrance average is required. Averages are calculated on the top six 4U or 4M credits including English 4U and MCV 4U.

English language requirements:

IELTS Academic is required with a minimum overall band score of 6.5 with no part less than 6.0.

TOEFL score of 580 or higher and a score of 4.5 on the TWE or a score of 85-90 on Internet Based Test (IBT) with no section less than 20.

C.A.E.L. (Canadian Academic English Language Assessment) - A minimum score of 60 is required with no part less than 60.

(PTE Academic) - A minimum overall score of 58 is required with no score less than 56.

DUOLINGO A minimum score of 115 overall with a minimum of 100 for each subscore.

Cambridge C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency: A minimum overall score of 176, with a minimum of 169 in each section.
