The Client Service Specialist (CSS) Certificate is a comprehensive ten-month training program designed to equip students with the skills, knowledge, tools, and experience to excel in providing exceptional customer service in a variety of industries and roles. The curriculum for this program places a focus on cultural inclusion, workplace understanding, technical skills, and career development to help prepare individuals for success as they enter the Canadian workplace.
The cornerstone of any client-facing business鈥檚 success is the experience customers have. Serving as the primary interface between businesses and customers, client service skills are invaluable and transferable across various industries. Retail, hospitality, tourism, and client service skills are integrated throughout the program to give students a strong foundation of front-line skills. Throughout the program, various workshops will also be integrated to give students the opportunity to earn industry-recognized certifications.
Students will have the opportunity to apply and refine the skills they develop throughout the program in an unpaid work practicum experience at the end of the program. This hands-on experience will help students practice their skills in the workplace, connect them to potential future employers, and build real working experience before starting their careers.
