The industry relies on database technology to store, retrieve and present information in a customized and user-friendly format. The Database Administrator program develops your knowledge of relational database design and architecture, system performance, backup and recovery, database security and the technical and business aspects of data modelling.
You will master the technical aspects of database administration using Oracle and Microsoft tools within Windows and Linux platforms. You will also learn to use and manage existing relational databases and then apply these skills in designing and implementing new databases per user requirements.
