Learn the fundamentals of business finance
At Sheridan, you’ll gain the essential finance skills needed to succeed in today’s business world. You’ll work with computer software that’s currently used in the industry and cover key finance topics and practices. You’ll study financial analysis and management, personal financial planning, credit planning, taxation, investments and more. You can also learn to develop financial plans for clients. Get advanced experience in our innovative finance courses
Advance your knowledge with practical courses such as Business Cases and Applied Business Management. These courses use hands-on lessons and projects to help you gain experience with real-world scenarios. You’ll take part in investment portfolio games, case studies of actual corporate financials and collaborative assignments to help you put everything you’ve learned in your studies to work. Gain work experience with finance co-op opportunities
As a Business Administration - Finance student, you’ll have the chance to do up to three co-op work terms during your studies. You’ll work in a program-related position in the finance industry, making connections through networking and gaining invaluable hands-on experience. Sheridan's ESL program EAP level - A minimum score of 70% in listening and speaking and 70% in reading and writing. General Education courses and Navigating Digital Environments (INFO) minimum required grade of 50%.
