The Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Human Resources Management is geared towards those who hold a bachelor鈥檚 degree in a subject other than business. The courses in this two-year program offer foundational business information as well as management expertise in the human resources field. You can expect to learn about management principles, conflict resolution and negotiation, recruitment and selection, strategy and planning, metrics and analytics, as well as performance management. This program can give you the leadership and interpersonal skills that are in high demand in today鈥檚 marketplace. Students who graduate from this certificate can pursue the designation of Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR).
This 20-course (60 credit) post-baccalaureate diploma is aimed at students with a bachelor's degree in a program other than Human Resources Management or Business, who wish to pursue a career in the Human Resources Management field. Students graduating with an average of 70% or higher may be eligible for an exemption from the National Knowledge Exam (NKE), as administered by the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources of British Columbia & Yukon. The NKE is one of the requirements to become a designated professional in Human Resources Management, known as a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR).
