CUHK-Shenzhen is committed to carrying out cutting-edge research in the fields of Computer Science and Engineering. To realize this goal, faculties and scholars of high-caliber have been globally recruited; curriculum has been meticulously designed with advanced teaching and research facility. In this programme, machine learning, artificial intelligence and data science will be the key application directions. Students will acquire a solid foundation in math and extend knowledge in cross-disciplinary applications. They will also master the knowledge and skills of computer which enable them to obtain strong analysis, design, programming and application capabilities of computer systems.
Graduates will be capable to excel in computer in various fields of society, and in pursuing research and development in academia.
The programme provides students with a stream of concentration (Student may graduate with or without a stream): Artificial Intelligence Steam.

English is the primary medium of instruction and working language here at CUHK-Shenzhen. We require candidates to demonstrate good English Language proficiency for the best study experience. Therefore, an applicant must demonstrate an acceptable level of proficiency in English. Our minimum standards are:
