This program develops expertise and skills in a broad range of areas including performance, composition and music production. Students will be taught fundamentals in music technique and theory as a solid groundwork for their music education. Through close guidance, students will acquire skills and refine their abilities for aural work and harmonic skills. Critical appraisal of music and the integral nature of music to society and culture will allow students to have a better comprehension of not only music, but society as a whole.

Our program is graded by both internal and external examiners from distinguished examiner panels to ensure a high quality standard.

Students will have the opportunity to learn advanced practical skills via experience, both from advice from their lecturers and performances. With immersion into the local performing arts scene, there will be vast career opportunities in the music industry in the field of music performances, music production and composition, music education and many more.
