What will I learn?

Overview

Develop your knowledge of modern technologies in industrial engineering with our MSc Advanced Engineering Design course. This course will help you to enhance your existing skills for digital design and smart manufacturing applications.

Using advanced technologies, you鈥檒l look at different ways of reaching solutions before a system or product is developed. You鈥檒l learn about a range of technical topics, applying your existing knowledge and skills to enhance the efficiency and productivity of manufacturing organisations. You鈥檒l practice successful implementation of solutions, considering design, development, and testing phases within a project.

In addition to engineering skills, you'll also develop your management and societal awareness skills, focusing on managing the development of modern solutions that address society鈥檚 needs.

This course will help you develop into an independent, creative, problem-solving, engineering professional.

Entry requirements

For international students

We require applicants to hold an undergraduate degree with a classification of 2:2 or above in computing or a 2:1 or above in a relevant non-computing discipline, such as mathematics, statistics or engineering. Our typical offer is 57% - 60% from a recognised university, a 3 year (4 year for Engineering) graduation degree from an AICTE / UGC recognised University. You need an overall score of 6.0, with at least 5.5 or higher in each component: reading, writing, listening and speaking.
