If youre passionate about zoo animals and wildlife and want to support breeding and conservation efforts, our industry-focused course is designed to give you the knowledge and skills to pursue a successful career.
As well as hands-on learning with animals, youll study a range of modules that cover animal health, zoo management and conservation. Its ideal if youre interested in a career in roles such as zoo keeping, zoo nutrition or wildlife education.
Youll be taught by subject-specialist staff, and benefit from campus facilities including dedicated canine and equine centres, a small animal unit and a working farm. Throughout your course, theres the chance to join 鈥榖ehind the scenes trips and other experiences.
We offer a number of animal management degrees at ARU in Writtle, with a common first year and the chance to specialise in years 2-3. With our Animal Management (Zoo and Wildlife Conservation) course, your focus will be on genetics, biotechnology and animal growth 麻豆原创 core topics of behaviour, nutrition and health.

Entrants will normally be required to hold 120 Level 4 & 120 Level 5 credits ( i.e HND) from a relevant subject, or equivalent. Alternative qualifications may be accepted.
If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.0 (Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University. TOEFL iBT - 80 overall with 17 in Writing and Listening, 18 in Reading and 20 in Speaking. Pearson PTE Academic - 60 overall with 59 in each of the four language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing)
