What will I learn?

This course will enable students to explore the different areas of the fashion, textiles and clothing industry, equipping them with practical and vocational skills, as well as develop their academic and creative potential. This course is based in Anstee House in central Kingston which has been designed for the needs of Fashion & Textiles students. This facility benefits from a spacious pattern cutting and garment construction studios 麻豆原创 the latest industrial machinery.

The 90 Credit qualification is a one year full-time course and is equivalent to 1.5 A-levels. The natural progression on successful completion is into a second year for completion of a full Extended Diploma; the Extended Diploma is equivalent to three A-levels. Some mature students however may choose to progress from the 90 Credit one year course directly into employment or alternative training.

The course will give you a broad knowledge and understanding of fashion design, marketing and manufacturing processes associated with the fashion industry. It will teach you practical and creative skills including pattern cutting, garment construction and visualisation techniques.

Entry requirements

For international students

Students need to have High School Leaving Certificate at C grade or above or other related comparable qualifications. A portfolio of art and design work and a satisfactory reference will be required. IELTS 5.0 or an equivalent English Language Certificate.
