What will I learn?

Our programme will give you an in-depth knowledge of disease mechanisms and molecular technologies while also developing your critical and practical skills. You’ll gain the essential expertise and practical and research skills to pursue a research career, either in a clinical or scientific setting.

Entry requirements

For international students

2:1 or above at undergraduate level in a relevant subject such as Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacology, Medicine from a recognised academic institution. Applicants with a 2:2 degree will be considered on an individual basis. Other routes: The programme is open to clinicians, graduate scientists, nurses, and other medical professionals working in a clinical, industrial or academic research environment. IELTS Academic: 7.0 overall including 6.5 in Writing and 5.5 in Reading, Listening and Speaking, TOEFL: 100 overall including 24 in Writing, 18 in Reading, 17 in Listening and 20 in Speaking.
