Our globally renowned engineers pioneer the development of numerical techniques such as the finite element method, as well as computational procedures that help to solve complex engineering problems.

Accredited by the JBM, this MSc also gives a comprehensive foundation in the finite element method in engineering mechanics.

YOUR COMPUTATIONAL ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE
Over the course you will use mathematical modelling and computational methods to solve complex problems.
You will learn techniques that play an increasingly instrumental role in industry and understand how methodology can be applied to fields such as medicine and the life sciences.
Your studies will be based at the Zienkiewicz Centre for Computational Engineering, which has excellent computing facilities including a state-of-the-art multi-processor supercomputer, with virtual reality facilities and high-speed networking.
