Graduate skills and destinations

The MSc in Minerals Processing will qualify graduates with both technical expertise and a solid understanding of the industry and business aspects; as well as additional complementary skills relating to communications, teamwork and problem solving.

CSM graduates have gone on to progress into higher level employment and management within the mining industry. Companies they have gone on to work for vary from Glencore, to Atlas and Vedanta Resources to First Quantum Minerals.

Entry requirements

For international students

A good honours degree, normally above a 2:2, in a science, earth or environmental science, engineering or maths based subject, from a recognised university. IELTS: Overall score 6.5. No less than 6.0 in any section. TOEFL: Overall score 90 with minimum scores of 21 for writing, 21 for listening, 22 for reading and 23 for speaking.
