What will I learn?

About the course

Become a fully qualified Physiotherapist in two-years with this full-time accelerated course for graduates. The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) approve this course. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be eligible to register as a Physiotherapist with the HCPC and eligible for full membership of the CSP.

This two-year accelerated programme will develop your clinical, leadership, management, and research skills allowing you to graduate armed with the skills and experience to treat complex patients and which promote progression within your Physiotherapy career.

- Cover the required 90 weeks of pre-registration study in two years, instead of the usual three years, on the full-time accelerated programme, to qualify and gain employment quicker.

Entry requirements

For international students

A degree from an Institution of Higher Education normally at 2:1 or above. The degree would normally have been completed within the last 5 years. Relevant subject areas include biological sciences, behavioural sciences, sport and exercise sciences, sports therapy, sports rehabilitation, and nursing. Applicants should demonstrate evidence of their interest in Physiotherapy and the seeking of work experience in Physiotherapy is encouraged. - Satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) or equivalent for overseas applicants. - GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics at grade C/4 or above, will normally be expected. Overseas applicants will require IELTS with an overall score of 7.0 with no less than 6.5 in any category, or an equivalent accepted English qualification. TOEFL score 90; Component scores of listening 17, reading 18, speaking 20, writing 18.
