What you'll learn

Oncology offers 3 qualifications: the postgraduate certificate requires 60 credits of study; the postgraduate diploma requires 120 credits; he MSc requires 180 credits. It includes a dissertation, which bears 60 credits.

You'll build an understanding of the basic aspects of cancer, including:

  • epidemiological

You'll explore the role of cancer treatment modalities and chemotherapeutic agents. You will consider pharmacological and health economic factors in cancer treatment regimens. You'll also work to develop cancer technology implementation plans.

Entry requirements

For international students

A 2:2 honours degree, or international equivalent, in a relevant discipline and working in the healthcare profession or related field. We will consider applications on an individual basis if you have lower or non-standard qualifications and are working in the healthcare profession or related field. You must be IT literate to complete these highly interactive courses online and have access to a computer with a printer and a reliable internet connection. English Language Requirements - IELTS 7.0 overall (with a minimum of 7.0 in writing and reading, and 6.5 in speaking and listening)). TOEFL 100 overall (with 24 in writing and reading, 23 in speaking, and 21 in listening).
