Curriculum: equipped for the real world

Covering topics such as environmental regulation, energy production and the law relating to nuclear energy, the programme provides a comprehensive understanding of law in this evolving field.

The programme features six core modules, lasting 16 weeks each, giving you ample time to understand the core legal issues surrounding energy production and how to solve them. Entry requirements

For international students

To apply for the Online LLM in Environmental and Energy Law degree from the Birmingham School of Law you will need to have obtained (or be predicted to obtain) at least an upper second-class degree from a UK university in Law OR an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.

 

If you do not meet standard entry criteria, we also accept applications in an allied degree with relevant work experience in the sector.

 

If English is not your first language, you will need to submit an up-to-date English language certificate. We accept academic IELTS with a score of 6.5 and no less than 6.0 in any band. Other language test scores are also accepted. Please speak with us to find out more.
