Ever wonder how highways and buildings are designed and built? The A.S. degree in Construction and Civil Engineering Technology prepares you to go into a diverse, dynamic and hands-on field where youll work with a team to solve problems and turn plans into reality.

With classroom curriculum that parallels on-the-job activities, this program is designed to train you on the skills you need to work on a team with architects, engineers, contractors, building officials and others. Learn about studying building plans, estimating materials and labor and obtaining building permits, among other day-to-day tasks. Upon completion, youll be ready to set your plans into play-whether thats a career just starting out in construction or a more advanced position, from architectural drafting to construction estimator to scheduler.
