What will I learn?

The Bachelor of Applied Science in Data Management and Analysis, Data Analytics Concentration provides graduates with the skills and knowledge needed for employment in the rapidly emerging field of data analytics, which comprises analyzing and interpreting the large datasets now available in a wide range of organizations and industries. Modern data analytics brings together tools and techniques from business, communication, graphic arts, information technology and statistics to collect, mine, interpret and represent large datasets to illustrate concepts and inform decisions.

Learning Outcomes

Degree recipients should be able to:

Use technical tools and statistical knowledge to answer questions using data.
Plan and organize multiple projects to meet deadlines.
Apply data analytics within business contexts, in accordance with best practices, laws and regulations, and ethics.
Communicate effectively in multiple contexts and a variety of formats.

For international students

Any applicant who has graduated from high school, or

Is 16 or 17 years old with proof of GED completion, or

Is 18 years of age or older

Acceptable English proficiency test results:

An Internet-based TOEFL (IBT) score of 61 or a Paper-based TOEFL 500

An academic IELTS overall score of 6.0 with all sub-scores 5.5 or higher

DUOLINGO English Test: 95

A grade of 鈥淐鈥 in English as a First Language on the IGCSE or O-level exams

An AP English Language or Literature/Comp score of 3 (Score of 3 places into English 101)

An IB English A exam with a minimum score of 4 (Score of 4 places into English 101)
