The apparel and textiles program emphasizes creativity and experimentation that mingles design with art. Students combine fine art, couture and technical design to create original garments that reflect an understanding of global issues such as sustainability and cultural dress.
The core of the textile and apparel program emphasizes aesthetics and creativity, two-and three-dimensional apparel and textile design skills, design technologies, the historical and cultural aspects of dress and textiles, sustainable design, and the role of apparel and textiles in a global context.

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): Internet-based test: score of 79 with no sub score below 17; International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - Regular admission: Score of 6.5 or higher; Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) - Minimum score of 53; minimum sub score requirement of 48.
Application submission deadline: Regular Admission: February 1.
