Students enrolled in this program will be awarded a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Lewis University and a Master of Science in Medical Laboratory Science from Rush University. All catalog rules for the Bachelor of Science in Biology apply.
Students admitted to the Medical Laboratory Science Program in this manner will be awarded a Bachelor of Science degree from Lewis University at the successful completion of the first two semesters at Rush University.
A minimum of 80 credit hours is required to earn the Master of Science in Medical Laboratory Science at Rush University. All courses taken during the first two semesters (33 credit hours) will be transferred back to Lewis University to meet the B.S. requirements.
Students must complete the first two semesters at Rush (Fall and Spring semesters) in order to be awarded the B.S. degree from Lewis University. If they do not complete the first two semesters, they will need to return to Lewis to fulfill the baccalaureate requirements.

Applicants must have graduated from an approved high school with a combination of grade point average, class rank, and ACT or SAT score which indicates a strong likelihood of success in university studies.
Applicants must have accumulated 18 high school units. Three of those units should be in English; the remaining 15 units should be chosen from a college preparatory curriculum.
