Physiology is a specialized life science degree that teaches you about animal physiology and anatomy and introduces you to intensive, hands-on laboratory experiences.
Our graduates are prepared to enter a variety of career fields, including the public and private sector, graduate school, or programs such as medical school or veterinary school. Along with your hands-on laboratory work as a physiology major, you can also select among specialized upper-division courses like Embryology, Pharmacology, Environmental Physiology, Endocrinology and Behavioral Neuroendocrinology. The physiology degree primarily serves to prepare you for graduate school or a medically related professional school.
