We are proud of our department and our undergraduate program — its national ranking, the international reputations of a number of our faculty member, and our building with its excellent facilities for both teaching and research.
Our Bachelor of Science degree, with options in biological science, business, communications, computer science, education, and polymer science, allows our undergraduates to receive a quality education and go on to positions in industry, to professional schools, or to graduate chemistry programs in highly regarded institutions.
Chemistry offers six special options for students with specific interests in combining chemistry with other subjects such as Bioscience. These options, involve additional courses in the chosen second discipline, together with an allowed waiver of selected required science courses. None of these special options requires more than 120 credits to graduate.
