What will I learn?

Interested in a construction management degree?

The construction management major provides students with a background in project management, technological building practices, and the economic, social, political and environmental aspects of residential and commercial construction.

Students take classes in contracts, finance, estimating, scheduling, project management, real estate, structural design, accounting, building codes, business law, safety and materials.

Students pursuing a construction management degree get professional construction management experience through a well-established internship program with agencies and businesses related to each student's area of interest within the construction industry.

The construction management major is accredited by the American Council for Construction Education. Only about half of all four-year programs in the U.S. are accredited.
