Biotechnology is where life sciences and technology converge. A degree in biotechnology opens up numerous employment possibilities since practically every industry utilizes biotechnology. A biotechnology degree fosters creativity, innovation, and adaptability that is applicable to most career choices.
The Biotechnology program is STEM designated. STEM eligibility allows international students on an F-1 student status to apply for an additional 24 months of work authorization after an initial 12-month period of post-completion Optional Practical Training (OPT) in the United States, if they meet the required criteria.

Degree Prerequisite: Applicants are required to hold a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology, cytotechnology, or medical laboratory science from a regionally accredited institution prior to the start of the program.
