What will I learn?

The Graduate Certificate is an option for students in the MSHR program to pursue different specializations or focus of interests to make them more competitive in specific HR job markets. In addition to fulfilling the requirements of the MS in Human Resource Management, students will need to take the 3 following courses (12 credit hours) to receive the certificate.

  • MGT 529 - LIFE AND CAREER COACHING - 4
  • MGT 589 - EXECUTIVE COACHING: LEADERSHIP IN A VOLATILE, UNCERTAIN, CHAOTIC AND AMBIGUOUS BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT - 4
  • MGT 798 or MGT 530 - SPECIAL TOPICS (The Mindful Leader) LEADERSHIP IN ORGANIZATIONS - 4

Entry requirements

For international students

To be eligible for admission, students must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a regionally accredited higher education institution.

English proficiency

  • TOEFL - 80 on the IBT TOEFL with no subsection lower than 17
  • IELTS Academic - 6.5 on the IELTS Academic
  • Duolingo English Test (DET) - 115 on the DET
  • SAT - minimum evidence based reading and writing score of 540
  • ACT - minimum reading score of 18 and English score of 20
  • PTE Academic - minimum English academic score of 53
  • Revised TOEFL Paper-delivered Test - 59 on the PdT overall with no subsection lower than 17
