What will I learn?

The combined B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering/M.S. in Industrial and Human Factors Engineering Program allows students to earn a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering and a M.S. in Industrial and Human Factors Engineering in 5 years. Up to 9 semester credit hours of graduate courses at the IHE 6000/7000 level may be double-counted and applied to both the B.S. and M.S. degree requirements.

B.S. Program Educational Objectives

Wright State's ISE program will produce industrial and systems engineers who will:

Engage in a career path in ISE or a related field

Participate in life-long learning through continuing professional education

Work in a team environment and communicate effectively, both in written form and orally

M.S. Program Learning Outcomes

Student will be able to:

Apply techniques and tools for the design and implementation of industrial systems, incorporating human factors principles;

Communicate effectively in written and oral form, at a high level of knowledge;

Work in teams

Entry requirements

For international students

Completion of at least 75 semester credit hours toward the B.S. degree

Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3

No grade lower than a B in any engineering course prior to admission into the combined degree program

English proficiency from one of these tests: TOEFL 61; IELTS: 5.5 with no sub score lower than 5.0; Pearson PTE: 51; Duolingo: 110; Cambridge test: Minimum scaled score of 162, with no subscore below 154, on the Cambridge English Qualifications; graduation from a United States high school.

Application dealine: April 30 for fall admission, October 10 for spring admission, February 28 for Summer admission.

*There may be different IELTS requirements depending on your chosen course.
