What will I learn?

Program Description:

Students admitted to selected graduate programs at Wright State University and students who have received a graduate degree in history or in selected other disciplines may choose to complete a certificate in either museum studies or archives and records management. Students who have previously earned a graduate degree must be admitted to the School of Graduate Studies with nondegree status. Students wishing to pursue either certificate must fill out a certificate application with the Director of the Public History track.

Entry requirements

For international students

Students must have earned a 4-year baccalaureate degree/3-year baccalaureate degree from select international institutions or its equivalent from an accredited college, university, or other institution of higher learning.

If your native language is not English and you do not have a degree from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university, you must have a minimum score on one of the following exams:

A score of 79/120 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)

A band 6 or higher through the International English Language Testing System (IELTS)

A score of 57 or higher on the Pearson PTE

*There may be different IELTS requirements depending on your chosen course.
