Many stakeholders in the construction industry recognize the inefficiency of design-bid-build project delivery. Numerous and costly changes, contract disputes, and schedule delays render traditional general contracting a less attractive option than in the past. Integrated project delivery (IPD) methods, especially design-build, are growing in popularity precisely because they successfully address these problems.
The construction industry values professionals with some educational background in IPD methods. Additionally, there are professionals who would like to learn IPD concepts without completing a lengthy graduate degree program. This new graduate certificate caters to the needs of these two groups.
CURRICULUM
To obtain a GCIPD, students are required to earn 12 credits by completing the following graduate courses:

The following English proficiency test scores are required for students for whom English is a second language: 79 on the TOEFL iBT; 6.0 on the IELTS; 105 on the Duolingo English Test for graduate students.
