Integrated Master's Program in Public Health (MPH) - Environmental Health will support you in entering your next semester of a graduate degree program at UAB. After completing the Pathway program, you are guaranteed to enter your next semester of study. This transition to university from an INTO program is called progression.
Integrated Master鈥檚 Program (IMP) provides comprehensive academic support and services in the first term of select graduate programs. IMP students are full degree-seeking students who are issued a degree-seeking I-20. We take any concerns out of the application process and academic journey by providing pre-arrival outreach, airport pickup, dedicated orientation, academic and cultural advising, counseling, out-of-class activities, as well as use of all UAB and INTO UAB on-campus resources, classrooms and facilities.
IMP is available for many of our most popular graduate degrees, with a curriculum focused on both major coursework and building skills for success in graduate work. Three core classes build credit toward your degree, with a fourth class focused on graduate learning in the US, including research documentation techniques, presentation skills and how to navigate the US higher education system.
