What will I learn?

Program Description

Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Art鈥檚 degree in Legal Studies can opt between the traditional Bachelor of Art鈥檚 degree program and the Bachelor of Arts degree program with a Law Office Management Concentration.

Keiser University鈥檚 traditional Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies trains students for careers in law and law-related fields (business, government and criminal justice) and also prepares students to pursue a law degree. Students learn the necessary information and skills for successful integration into a law office atmosphere. They also learn the ways in which the law impacts most professional fields. The program permits students to take up to six elective courses, three of which must come from the Legal Studies curriculum, and may also provide students with the opportunity for an internship.

Keiser University鈥檚 Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies with a Law Office Management concentration trains students for both traditional paralegal positions and law office manager positions. As law office managers, graduates will help oversee the day-to-day operations and management of a law firm. Students will take the majority of their courses from the Legal Studies curriculum and five courses from the Business and Accounting departments, covering topics such as accounting principles and employee relations.
