The purpose of the M.A. in childhood education in languages, literatures and cultures is to provide candidates with the knowledge and skills needed to teach effectively in the dual language immersion classroom. This interdisciplinary program provides the opportunity for professional growth in the areas of linguistic and cultural proficiency, as well as teaching methodology. There is a part-time option for in-service teachers.
Current UD undergraduate students can be considered for admission to the 4+1 B.S. in early childhood education/M.A. in childhood education in languages, literatures and cultures.

The requirements for admission to the program are as follows:
