What will I learn?

Designed as a hybrid program, our Master of Education in School Librarianship fits right into your busy life. Students get face to face with their instructors on Saturdays – right where they live and work – and online instruction throughout the week. Our flexible program is perfect for individuals or school divisions seeking school librarianship preparation for a group of candidates.

Our program focuses on collaboration, leadership and technology, preparing students to implement a fully integrated school library program. Each cohort enrolls 15-20 students ranging in age from 20-something to 60+, providing unlimited opportunities to network, share research, swap ideas, and present and publish with others in the field.

We offer tracks for currently licensed teachers and those seeking initial licensure. The program can be completed in as little as two and a half years or at an accelerated pace through close, direct advising from one of our program faculty.
