What will I learn?

Empower individuals and groups to improve their own health by applying social and behavioral science principles to education.

As a student in the MPH in Social and Behavioral Sciences program, you鈥檒l learn how to create and carry out successful public health interventions that promote population health. Gain a broad foundation of the principles of public health, learn how to plan effective educational programs and evaluate results.

The MPH in Social and Behavioral Sciences program prepares graduates to:

The Master of Public Health (MPH) in Social and Behavioral Sciences program is a 42-credit, post-BS program that has been developed to provide a comprehensive public health education to all graduates.

All MPH students will take five core public health courses plus a two-semester, six-credit MPH practicum (21 credits total):
