Illinois Tech鈥檚 Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering offers a rigorous program preparing students to become leaders in this fast-growing industry. Materials engineers produce new and better materials that will revolutionize health care, information technologies, and energy.

Entry requirements

For international students

Illinois Tech requires a four-year bachelor's degree conferred with a minimum cumulative undergraduate grade-point average of 3.0/4.0 (or its equivalent) from an accredited institution for regular admission. Individual departments may have different requirements, however.
