Exploring both pure and applied mathematics
Our 25+ tenure track faculty have research interests in a range of areas within mathematics, including Algebra, Analysis, Applied Mathematics, Graph Theory and Combinatorics, Mathematics Education, Optimization, Set Theory, and Topology. Graduate classes are small, with a great deal of personal interaction between students and faculty.

The applications are accepted year round, but admission decisions are made in early February. A GRE score is not required to gain entrance into our graduate e application contains an option to request financial support in the form of the Graduate Assistantship.

A Bachelor's degree with an undergraduate major in mathematics or permission of the director of graduate studies is required and a GPA of 2.75 or higher.
Proof of English Proficiency: All international students must provide proof of English proficiency by meeting ONE of the following requirements: TOEFL iBT - 80; IELTS - 6.5; PTE - 54; Duolingo - 110.
Application deadline: Feb/01 for fall.
